“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest,” Matthew 9:37-38.
The children studied about the harvest.
Brother Roy Frye opened Sunday school after we sang. He read Proverbs 8:1-11 for the devotion then disimissed us to class.
Pastor David prayed for the prayer requests. Please pray for Betty Satterfield, Tabitha and family, John and Zamber Little, Wyatt and Liviya, Bob Lambert, Don Graham, Marvin Graham, Pete Turley and family, Dara and Ernest Strong and family, Wanda Goss and family, all bereaved, unspoken, unsaved, military, country and leaders and each other.
Sister Betty had a praise of a young man being baptized. May God richly bless him in his new Christian walk.
Pastor David sang and preached from Revelation 2:12-20 on keeping Christ at the center of our life.
We had good testimonies in both services. I read a story comparing a Christian to a pumpkin that Sister Tillie Fowler sent to Pastor David.
Pastor David sang then preached from Psalm 37:1-6. No matter what bad or troubled times come into our life we can still find God and know that He is with us.
Don’t forget our hayride and fellowship Saturday, October 13 at 5:00 p.m.
May God bless you all.
