I talked with Bonnie Phipps and she said she was doing just fine, but no new news.

Last Monday was our O.E.S. meeting in Ava and we had some missing because of sickness.

I hope Vickie Prock is home and on the mend.

The O.E.S. entertained the Masons last Tuesday night and Marsha Blakey gave a talk after everyone got through eating.

I took some food and Carol’s green beans to her and then I took some food over to Charlotte and Mike Bock after we cleaned up the kitchen.

Tara brought Jett over Wednesday and then picked him up that evening before I went to church for our business meeting and Bible Study. Those there were Nina Carter, Martin Hathcock, Jewell Elliott, Kay Hutchison, Hellen Blakey and Ric Engelhardt.

James and Lakota came by after I got home they had came back from a ballgame which they won.

I kept Jett Thursday morning while Justin and Tara went to Coleman Miles’ funeral.

That night I went to the Stained Glass Theatre with Nina Carter and we met my sister, Margaret Allen, and her daughter, Brenda Henslee, Monica Reemes and friends, Anette and Betsy. The title of the play was “Seeds of Joy” and it was good. If you can go see it you will think so too.

Friday was flu shot day and I got mine and then I headed down to the lake where Vernal and Ellen Blakey was camping and it rained on me almost all the way down there after I passed Bessie Hall’s house.

It rained off and on all day Saturday so Deloris and I stayed in the camper while the younger ones went shopping, when they got back we ate supper and then played games and talked.

Sunday morning I got up and came back up here for Sunday school because I had a student who was going to be there.

When I got home from church Mark and Sherry were here with some eggs and there on my front porch was a bag with some big potatoes in it and some egg cartons and I haven’t found out who left them, but I appreciate it.

Sunday night the Mt. Tabor Church went over to Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock’s and sung some songs for Mary Ann because she hasn’t been getting out to church.

Nina Carter stopped and picked me up.

Keep those prayers going for all the sick folks.

My prayer and sympathy goes out to all who have lost a loved one.

Lets pray for our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training.
