It’s really good to see all those guys out cutting hay and there is lots of people enjoying the fall veggies.

Monday morning Georgia Sanders, Sue Johnson, Norma Cross and Pauline Richards had lunch with Peggy Jenkins at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center. We had a wonderful meal, while there they visited with their cousin, Golda Miller, who was feeling better and Irene Richards.

I was sorry to hear the passing of Mary Jones. She has been in the care center for a while.

Pete Jenkins from Fayetteville, Arkansas joined his sisters, Georgia, Sue, Norma and Pauline at Goodhope in the Jenkins building Monday evening. Their nieces and nephew, Kimberley and Lance Stillings, Clair and Braxton, Matthew Jenkins, Holly, Natalie and Paxton, Katie and Kaylin Jenkins all stopped for a visit Tuesday and Kailey Thompson was there. Pete went home Wednesday. Georgia and Sue went home Thursday morning. Jess Storie from Claremore, Sue’s son-in-law, picked them up on his way home from Waynesville.

Kinsey Thompson will have surgery (Wednesday the 26th) on her knee. She will be out of school for a while and no sports for a long time.

Plainview won third place at the Bradleyville tournament Thursday evening. We talked to CarolynSwearenging in McDonald’s Saturday. Glen is in a nursing home in Springfield. He had one toe removed. They will know this week if they will have to take his foot off or not. Carolynn wants us to remember Glen in our prayers.

Past week visitors of Tom and Sue Brown were Tom’s brother and wife, Jim and Georgia Brown of Illinois. While visiting Georgia had misfortune of hurting her leg and Sue took her to the doctor. Nothing was broken. Just a sore bruised leg.

Sunday dinner guests of Ervin and Lodean Schultz were Ron and Judy and Jerry Lethco of Mountain Grove. Jerry’s friend, Gloria and Tom and Sue Brown.

“Faithful” sang three songs as specials at Goodhope General Baptist. Miss Megan Cook read “Thank You Note” and sang a special.

Guest speaker was Jim Norman, for the Gideons.

Attendance was 86.

Teresa Davis is home after having knee surgery last week. We need to keep her in our prayers also.

Oliver Lee and Liz Jenkins visited with Sue and Georgia and Norma in the Jenkins building at Goodhope last Sunday evening. Kenny and Seth visited with Norma over the weekend.
