Sunday school lesson was Romans 3rd chapter. Salvation has come to not only the Jews but the Gentiles also. The 23rd verse, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Praise God a way was made that we sinners could be saved by grace.
After congregational singing, Bro. Cub took the sermon from I John the 3rd chapter. How great it is to be called “the sons of God.” Such sinful creatures yet God’s love reaches down and calls us to righteousness. We are to strive to follow Jesus’ example and love the brethren and pray for those who are still without Jesus in their hearts. In the 14th verse it says, “we know we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.” And we are to love not only in our words, but our deeds as well.
We had a good monthly singing Friday night 9-14-12. Our crowd was down a little, but we still had good fellowship and a lot of fun. As Christians I believe God is happy when He sees His children happy. So fellow Christians put a smile on your face and rejoice in the Lord. I believe those around you would have an easier time seeing Jesus in you. You all have a good week and God bless.
Remember our singing is always the second Friday of every month starting at 7:00 p.m.
