Sandy Church

We read our devotional from John 8 followed by singing.  Brad Siler read a thank you note from an Options Pregnancy Clinic client.

Danny Johnson prayed the offertory prayer as he and Daniel Wilson received our Lord’s tithes and offerings.  A friendly handshake time followed.

Pastor Neal greeted everyone with good morning and announced our monthly fellowship dinner.  Backpack items were collected for Plainview School.

Juanita Menzies gave a praise report for Taylor Menzies not having surgery on her knee.  Pat Nall gave a praise report for her mother’s progress.  We give the praise and glory to our God and Heavenly Father.  Pastor Neal read from Luke 20.  Jesus was asked, is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar.  He answered, render unto Caesar what is his and unto God the things which are God’s and they marveled at his answer.

Pastor Neal prayed a special prayer for Nathan Luttrell, who will be leaving on Monday for Fort Leonard Wood.  He presented him with a Bible.  We were glad to have his family with us at his last service with us before leaving. A fellowship meal followed.

At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal began with prayer followed by singing.  Prayer requests and praised were given.  Remember Justin Combs, who had an accident.  Our God is able.

A group of the kids sang and played for the Lord.  Abby Dobbs and Avery Hendricks played guitar.  A great job, kids.  Pastor Neal read from Luke 20, Jesus teaching the Sadducees about the resurrection.

Our children will be going back to school this week.  Ashton Crum will be going to College of the Ozarks.  Remember them in prayer.  So glad we can pray a prayer covering over them because of the authority in the name of Jesus.

Come and worship with us.  Tuesday at 7 p.m. is special prayer meeting and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. is Bible study.
