Wednesday night service was opened with prayer and prayer requests for Teresa W., Wayne S., Amy, Chad and Shantelle and prayer is needed for the children going back to school, for safety, the teachers and the bus drivers.
The message was Matthew 20:30, two blind men who cried out to Jesus as He was passing by. The by standers told them to be quiet, they cried louder, Jesus had compassion on them and they received their sight. There are times when friends and the world tell us to be quiet, don’t raise a fuss, but we need to cry louder, above the noise of this world.
Matthew 16:24 tells us to deny ourselves, pick up your cross and follow Him.
We have profited nothing in this life, if your soul is not ready to meet the Lord.
During Sunday morning service prayer requests were asked for Bevy’s family, Missy, Norma, military men and women, Linda R. family, Norma Freeman, Colleen, unspoken, Chad. Lauren, leaders of our country, Reba N., Connie and Wanda.
The morning message was in II Corinthians 12:7. It’s about a thorn in our flesh. Why are we plagued by this? Is it from a sinful past? We all have infirmities, but God is by our side, to go through them with us.
The evening service was about how many of the ten commandments do we really keep?
When we start to do something, and a still small voice speaks, do we pay attention to that voice or do we even recognize it?
Come boldly before the throne, pray and get familiar with the voice of God and the Holy Spirit.
Praise God for the rain He blessed us with.
