Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone taking prayer requests and praise reports of which we have many. Sis. Tracy Shipley led in prayer. Jack read John 8:12-19 for devotion.
After a good Sunday school lesson the offering was received. Our little ones sang for us and were led by Sis. Tracy.
Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty, Jeff Shipley, Hi Lambeth, Melba Austin, Kelli Clemans and Tracy Shipley.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Melisssa Harmon did a special singing.
Pastor Bill Austin brought his message from the Beautitudes, Matthew 5:1-11, commenting mostly on verse 5 how we should be meek, but brave enough to tell others of Jesus and to be concerned where their soul will spend eternity.
Sunday evening began with congregational singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone to service. He took prayer requests and praise reports. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Bill Austin, Jack Essary, Melba Austin, Hi Lambeth, Lila Roberts and Jim Lafferty. Bro. Jim Lafferty was the speaker Sunday night. He brought his message from Isaiah 66:12-24. He spoke about the good things that will be in Heaven. Our minds cannot begin to understand or think how wonderful Heaven will be for those that believe, but for those that don’t believe, what a horrible eternity they will live. They were very good services today.
Come worship with us. Remember it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God.
