Bonnie Phipps went to church Sunday and after it was over they all went up to Springfield to help little Wylie Vigessa celebrate his 5th birthday with families and friends. Wylie is the son of Chris and Courtnie Vigessa. Courtnie, Wylie and little brother, Weslee, came in to visit and help Wylie celebrate his birthday. They live in North Dakota. Bonnie said she didn’t know some of the people so we will say they were great-grandmother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Monica Reemes came up last Tuesday and took me down to Karie Hanger’s funeral at the Spring Creek Cemetery and there was a big turn out for it.
Kay Hutchison came by and got my news and that evening Carol Moore came over and picked me up and we went with Mary Martha Williams and Marie Dickey to Houston O.E.S. Friendship Meeting.
Tara brought Jett by Wednesday, that evening I went to Bible Study with Martin and the others that were there were Nina Carter, Jewell Elliott, Kay Hutchison and Ric and Lisa Engelhardt.
Tara brought Jett Thursday and that evening James stopped by and played with him until he went to Lakota’s ballgame. I sure appreciate Jo Stephens taking my eggs over to the girls at the eye doctor for me.
George and Violet Blakey came by Friday and brought me an early, early birthday gift and they picked up their eggs.
I went Saturday and picked some green beans and when I got home Mark, Sherry, Mark Weston and James came and helped me break them and we got 11 pints, five quarts out of them.
Saturday I received one-fourth of an inch of rain and then Sunday I got eight-tenths more. My neighbors up the road John Stephens got one and one-tenths of an inch of rain for Sunday.
James and Lakota came by Saturday evening after she got through practicing ball.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers because there are so many out there.
My prayers and sympathy goes out to all the ones who have lost a loved one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
