Sunday morning service began with some really good Bluegrass Gospel music then prayer requests and prayer followed by congregational songs.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Matthew 11:28-30 and Isaiah 40:31, “Lightening Your Load.”

Sunday evening was our 4th Sunday Singing which was very good with some beautiful specials.

Those visiting in our home last week were Vern and Kathleen Deatheerage, Bevy Moore, Donna,   Bannister, Pauline Okhuysen and Wilma Hamby.

Delmar and I visited one evening with Uncle Mack Miller. We took him some squash casserole  and peanut brittle. While there, I also visited with Bob and Linda McCleary.

We went to Springfield on Tuesday then stopped back by and visited with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams.

One evening we met Jack and Barb Breshears at McDonald’s for a cold soda and ice cream.

On Saturday morning we ate breakfast in the home of Dorothy Burton. Also joining us were Dan Burton, Brad and Alex.

I visited on Saturday afternoon with Eva Painter, who had surgery on Friday.

Uncle Hugh and Aunt Violet Morris will be celebrating their 73rd anniversary on Sunday, July 29. We are having a card shower for them, Anyone wanting to send them a card may mail them to:
