The Hootin an Hollarin Quilt Show in Gainesville, Mo. is soon approaching, with festival dates Thursday through Friday, Sept. 20-22. For the event, organizers are anxious to display the handiwork of talented Ozark Heritage crafters, and are encouraging locals to enter quilts in the show.
Quilters from all areas are invited to enter. All quilts must have been made in the last ten years, and never entered in the quilt show in previous years. Ribbons will be awarded for several different categories.
This year’s show is in memory of Ruth Taylor who for many years organized the show. Ruth passed away earlier this year.
