Best wishes to J.C. Taylor in West Plains whose back problems have disabled him.

His son, Chet, took him to St. Louis Barnes Hospital and he and Dana have been helping out at the Taylor’s home.

I heard from Ginger Peters in Pennsville, New Jersey last week. Her son, Allen, lives a short distance from her and does carpentry work. Her other son and wife have spent this past weekend with her from Texas and were going to Niagara Falls. Her daughter and grandson were to visit her this week from California.

Macel Jefferson filled in for Pastor Scott Linton at Lilly Ridge at Sunday evening services during Scott’s absence.

Paralee Rea’s niece, Phyllis Jackson, from Independence, Missouri was down to Oakland, Arkansas Cemetery Decoration and took her aunt to Fred’s Fish House for lunch.

Best wishes to Barney Douglas who is in Gainesville Nursing Center where he can receive therapy. Also best wishes to Ron Mahan who is a patient there also. Cards and well wishes can be sent there to P.O. Box 628 Gainesville, MO 65655.

Our club member who is a talented quilter is getting our annual quilt ready to sell chances on and it is a beautiful quilt, to be presented to a lucky winner at Hootin’ An’ Hollarin’ in September.

Prayers are for Carolyn Walters who had surgery Monday, sister of Ernestine Gaddy.

Jean Suman enjoyed her company over Memorial weekend. Visiting her was her sisters, Helen Miles and June Ownsby, David White, nephews and nieces, Steve, Debbie Robinson from Mayflower, Arkansas, Lori, Ali, Zack Suman from Ozark and TLC Caregivers, Theresa, Carlyn Bridges from Kansas City and Ernestine Gaddy.

Best wishes to Macel Jefferson who had chest pains Monday and was taken to the hospital.

Our money goes farther these days. In fact, a lot of it winds up in outer space.
