Smallett

Sunday morning service opened with some very fine music, then prayer requests and prayer. We had three congregational songs then Margaret Rosseau sang a special.

Brother Roberts brought the message from I Cor. 11, “Remembrance.”

Bob and Nora Edwards visited with Toby and Jacinda Sheppard and family on Thursday evening to see pictures and hear about their trip to Myrtle Beach. Nora enjoyed spending the day Saturday at the lake with the kids, grandkids, great grandkids and in-law family. Bob and Nora Edwards visited on Sunday afternoon with Darrell and Kay Holmes.

Spending the weekend with Jerry and Suanne Sutherland were Dianna, Cassidy and Caitlyn Bernhard of Springfield. Also, visiting with them on Monday was CloElla Leverenz of Springfield.

Those visiting in our home were Pauline Okhuysen, Donna Bannister, Bevy Moore, Raylee Burton, Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams.

On Wednesday, we took Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams with us and made a trip to Windsor, Mo. to visit with Hugh and Violet Morris. We also visited with Herb and Judie Morris while there.

On Friday I met Tabitha, Raylee, and Jaycee Burton, Bevy Moore and Caydee Burton and Donna Bannister at Taco Bell for lunch and got to hold my 5th great-grandchild while there. She is beautiful just like her sisters and mommy.

On Friday, Delmar and I decorated at three cemeteries then three more on Saturday. It was so hot that we didn’t do all of them in one day. On Saturday, we visited with Nora Hunsaker and Lee Williams and had lunch with them.

On Sunday, we attended church then visited with Keith and Donna Bannister and Shawn, Summer, Caidence and Conner Johnson in Mansfield.

On Monday evening we visited with Jack, Barb and Miracle Breshears and had supper with them. We also saw Preston Breshears and Brian while there.

Until next week remember this, Don’t cry over anything that can’t cry over you.
