Food items were collected for the Heart of the Hills Food Harvest.
Our devotional reading was from Deuteronomy 32, which we all stood to read.
Brad Siler read a thank you note from the Rocky Valentine family.
Prayer requests were for Allie Mackey, who is now awake and doing better, Patty Siler and others. Van Menzies prayed this prayer. Happy birthday was sung to LeaAnn Crum, on the 6th, and Kevin Hodges on the 8th.
Stan Humbyrd prayed the offertory prayer as we gave the Lord our tithes and offerings.
LeaAnn Crum received a card and love gift from her church family.
Testimonies were given by several. We were told, “If we have Jesus in our boat, we are going to the other side”.
Pastor Neal prayed a special prayer for Paul Duckworth with his church family gathered around him and his family. As we closed our service, Aaron Humbyrd prayed from the upper room.
Jim and Kendra Harris were doing children’s church.
At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal prayed followed by congregational singing and testimonies were shared giving praises to our Good Lord. We were happy to have the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Zohn Engelhardt, who will be helping in Junior High camp.
LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang and Pastor Neal read from Luke 17 where Jesus taught the Kingdom of God is coming.
Next Sunday is collection of backpack items for Plainview School, our monthly fellowship dinner for birthdays and anniversaries in June and, at 2 p.m., we will be at the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center—a very busy day ahead of us.
Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. is special prayer time and each Wednesday at 7 p.m. is Bible Study.
This week is Senior High Camp at White River Campgrounds. We will be helping with breakfast each Thursday morning at 6:15 a.m. Juanita and Harold Menzies will be there as cooks again this year. They now have help for breakfast and for supper each day. Chris Sims and Stephanie Chambers are co-directors this week. This is truly a great outreach for our youth, who so much need to hear about Jesus. Let us pray much for our camps all four weeks in June.
