Church began with singing and prayer requests. There are so many that continue to need our prayers and concern. We have folks out sick, our country, the military, the unsaved and the list goes on and on.
Brother Raymond Haden was our speaker for both services Sunday. He spoke in the early service on the word, “truth”. We enjoy having the Hadens, and especially to have them sing for us.
This Sunday will be our feet washing and communion service in the 11 a.m. worship hour. Brother Don Bryan will be the speaker for the service.
June 16 will be our singing, by Big Creek, at 7 p.m. Please join us if possible, you will be blessed.
Brother Max Stephens will be with us Sunday, June 17, you are all invited.
Brother Don Bryan has not been doing very well, lately, and made a trip to ER in Springfield, and got checked out and came home a couple of days later.
Mae Cox’s visitors have been her sister, Sylvia, Freeda Richards, Jim and Sue Jenkins Wetherton, of Kansas, and Donna Nichols. Huba Pruiett called Mae while she was visiting her daughter in Illinois.
David and Paula Jenkins Brigance, of Mt. Vernon, visited Kay Hutchison last Saturday, while here for the Jenkins reunion.
Visitors in the home of Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock this week were Jim and Jo Hathcock and Jack, Eleazar and Ronda Soto, and Pat Smith. Mary Ann has not been doing very well, of late.
Martin Hathcock visited Harold Hutchison and Amy, Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Clements, Morgan and Dylan, visited Harold and Kay Hutchison and Amy, Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Elliott attended the visitation for Mrs. Minnie Snoddy, Tuesday afternoon, and also attended the visitation for Noble Lakey, Tuesday evening.
Congratulations are in order for Miss MaKayla Elliott, who won a bronze medal at the Bible Quiz Bowl, in Kansas City, last week end.
Also, our best wishes to Miss Caitlin Elliott, a recent graduate from nursing school.
Harold and Kay Hutchison were in West Plains last Friday, at Harlin and Shirley Hutchisons. Amy came home with them to spend the week.
Harlin and Shirley were in Lake of the Ozarks last weekend, at the Missouri Broadcasters Awards, where Harlin placed first for his commercial.
Jewell Elliott and Kay Hutchison attended Camp Piland last Thursday, taking food from the church, and staying to help clean up afterward. They had a great turnout and lots of helpers, which is great.
Visitors with Bessie Hall this past week were J.C. and Vicky, Jewell, Kim and Danny, Kay and Amy Hutchison.
