Caney Church went to the White River Youth Camp service Wednesday evening where we saw six young people accept the Lord.
Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack welcomed all to service. Sis. Lorrinda Coulter led in prayer.
Bro. Jack read Nehemiah 1:5-11 for our devotion.
After a very good Sunday school lesson Happy Birthday was sung to Sis. Elsie Combs and Bro. Jeff Shipley.
Our offering was received. Testimonies were given by Hi Lambeth, Jeff Shipley, Jill and Melissa Harmon.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Gracie Shipley and Melissa Harmon did specials. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Psalms 37:23. Fathers should train his children to serve the Lord, teach them to stand for right and against wrong. Be a father to your children, don’t let the world have them.
Bro. Hi Lambeth sang to close service. What a blessing he is to our church. All our wonderful fathers were recognized. We were blessed to have guests. Hope they enjoyed and will come again.
We will be having a fellowship dinner next Sunday, June 24 after the morning service. Bring a dish and come for fellowship.
Sunday evening service began with singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley welcomed everyone. We have many concerns. We know God hears and answers our prayers. Sis. Janice Lafferty led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Bill Austin, Janice Lafferty and Lilah Roberts. Bro. Jack Essary was the speaker of the hour. He brought his message from Romans 3:10-19 and John 14:1-3. We may not understand the Bible or the things that happen, but we know this God is always good and God is always right. We are God’s people. We need to live so others can see Christ. It was a great message from the Lord. Come worship with us.
