Don't Miss

Smallett

Sunday morning service was opened with music and singing.  Sister Joyce Erickson did a beautiful job on her special song.

Brother Roberts brought the message from Hebrews 10:24-25, “A Message of Encouragement.”

We have been busy this week with Delmar working in his garden, me being at Springfield waiting to welcome my 5th great grandchild. She arrived at 5:56 A.M. On April 27. Her name is Jaycee Laine Burton. Jaycee weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. And was 19 inches long. She joins two beautiful sisters, Raylee and Caydee. Jaycee was in NICU for a few days before coming home but is doing fine now.

We were glad to hear that Eldon Bice got to go home after a week and half  in the hospital.

I want to wish my mother, Nora Hunsaker, a happy 88th birthday this Friday, May 4th.

I also wish my daughter, Donna Bannister a happy birthday on May 2nd.

Delmar and I were at my cousin, James Miller’s, funeral. It was one of the sweetest services I ever attended. James’ nieces and nephew-in-law did the music. James’ cousin, Bob Miller did the service. James’ brother-in-law did the eulogy. There was a military service at the cemetery which was beautiful. James was a special cousin and we will all really miss him.

We are saddened at the news of another relative being killed in an accident, Richard Coy.

Until next week just remember The only real peace we have is in the Lord.
