We are blessed by the testimony of one that many have been praying for, for a long time, who has accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Which made the day all the more beautiful in which to praise the Lord last Sunday.
Our morning message was taken from the theme of the fifth Sunday meeting at our sister church, Clear Springs and the message brought at that meeting by Brother Burl Norton. From the book of Esther the subject being, “You May Be the One.” Even as Esther was the chosen one to influence the king in her time, you may be the one to make a difference in this day and time. We all need to be willing to stand up for what is right, or be ready to accept the consequences of our failure to do so.
Our evening message was from II Thessalonians 1, with our focus on, “Desireable Things.” Those things which should become the “desires of your heart,” when we seek to serve the Lord with our whole being.
If you come and join us in worship, you will not only get a share of the Lord’s blessings, and help make better use of the ample seating in our sanctuary, but you might even convince me that your seat is taken and I will have to find some other means to induce reticent individuals to come and occupy the facilities.
See you next Sunday (we hope). God bless, and keep you until then.
