Smallett

Sunday morning was opened with hymns, prayer requests and prayer.

Sister Tillie Fowler sang the beautiful special. I truly enjoy her specials.

Brother Cody Prock brought the message from Matthew 25: 14-30, “Don’t waste your talents.”

Brother Cody Prock brought the evening message from Matthew 24: 12-14 and Song of Solomon 5.

Those visiting in our home this week were Betty DeChenne, Pauline Okhuysen, Sandy Cleghorn, Vern and Kathleen Deatherage, Donna Bannister, Bevy Moore  and George and Violet Blakey.

We got word that Cathy Cornett’s surgery was successful.

Lee Williams had to go to the hospital and have some work done on his arteries and a new stint put in. He is at home now doing lots better.

Aunt Violet Morris was released from the hospital and brought back to the nursing home. She is doing a lot better.

I sure appreciate the work that Donna Bannister helped me do in washing windows.

Don’t forget to invite friends and family to come to church with you on Easter Sunday.

Until next week remember what the reason really is for Easter.
