Our Ressurection Sunday began with a wonderful Sunday school lesson about the visit of “certain women” to the empty tomb where Jesus was laid. Their discovery and the subsequent events which led to the discovery of the “Risen Lord.” After our Sunday school lesson we went into the choirs rendition of “The Resurrection Cantata, which everyone said went very well, and of course; I agree. Then our Resurrection Sunday message was entitled, “Something To Shout About,” of course the Resurrection of our Lord and the importance of that fact to all those who believe in Him, was the focus of his message. Our text, 1 Corinthians 15:20 says, “Now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.” By the way, even though we had a nice crowd, no one took your seat; come and join us in praise and worship next Sunday, your seat is still available. May God richly bless you, is our prayer.
