It was a great day to be in the Lord’s house as we began with prayer and singing. We have many seeing their doctors and those who are bereaved and still needing our prayers.
We have those with praise reports, which is always good news. We were glad to have our visitors and some of our regulars back.
Brother Ric Englehardt was our speaker in both services and did a wonderful job. He spoke about the history behind the crucifixion and then continued with “the rest of the story” in the evening. We enjoyed having Daisy Christensen play her violin in the morning service and MaKayla Elliott played her violin in the evening service, great job, girls.
Mt. Tabor Church had the nursing home service Sunday with a great turnout and good singing and Brother Don Bryan gave the devotion. We appreciate Norma Stillings coming in to play the piano for us.
Last week was the Missouri Assn. of General Baptists meeting at Camp Piland. There was very good attendance in the services Friday night and Saturday and the preaching was exceptional. Several from Mt. Tabor Church attended some of the services and the business meetings.
This Sunday we will have a speaker from the Gideon’s in part of the church hour.
