Mt. Tabor Church celebrated a glorious resurrection day beginning with the sunrise message from Brother David Dodson, speaking about Apostle Paul and the power of the resurrection. The singing and specials were appreciated and this was followed by a bountiful breakfast with our good cooks outdoing themselves again. We appreciate our visitors, please come again.
We are sorry to hear of the death of Mae Cox’s brother, Thetis Pruiett, in the state of Texas.
White River Assn. begins this Thursday evening at 7 p.m., with Missouri Assn. to begin the following week.
Those visiting Bessie Hall this week were Bonita Winingham, Jewell Elliott, J.C. Hall and Vicky Burnett, Kay Hutchison, Kim Clements, Lisa Johnson and Jesse. Jimmy Johnson and Jesse also stopped on their way home from the baseball game at Hollister for a short visit.
Bonita Winingham arrived at her parents home to spend a few days and make the trip to St. Louis with them for Tom’s doctor appointment.
Martin and Mary Ann Hathcock attended their annual Easter gathering at Plainview School for all their families. There was 45 in attendance, all their children except, Kathy, and most of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The children enjoyed themselves playing in the gym.
Dylan Clements and his friend, Dakota Renner, attended sunrise services with Kay Hutchison. Visiting during the week also was Kim, Danny and Morgan Clements.
