Sunday school opened with a good morning to all from Bro. Marshall. We sang for the Lord. We had many prayer requests. Prayer was led by Sister Peggy. Bro. Marshall read scripture from Proverbs 30:5-8.
Sunday school class began with the leader, Sister Peggy, asking Sister Lee to pray. The lesson was in the book of I Corinthians 1:1-10. We had comments and discussion from the class. Our little angel gathered up the Coins For Christ. Time to sing for Jesus. The choir was in good voice. It is such a blessing to sing the good old hymns. We gave our gifts for the Lord with Sister Lee blessing on them.
Bro. Paul gave all a good morning. He spoke of the possible storms we might be in for. At the end of his comments he said when Jesus comes there won’t be any more storms to worry about. Amen. We had specials by Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy and Sister Juanita.
Bro. Paul read scripture from St. John 20:19-31. He prayed and gave us a great message from the Lord. We closed with a song and prayer by Sister Patsy.
The evening service began with our prayer circle. There were many. Prayer by Bro. Marvin. We sang for the Lord. Bro. Paul asked if there were anymore prayer requests. Then Bro. Paul led in prayer. We had specials from Bro. Marvin, Bro. Marshall, Sister Peggy and Sister Juanita. Some gave their testimonies.
Bro. Ervin Friend and wife, Paula, from Niangua joined us for the evening service. He blessed us with a good message from the Lord. He used scripture from several passages from the Bible, he then prayed.
Bro. Paul closed the service with some comments and Bro. Marshall dismissed in prayer. It was a good day in the Lord.
