Children’s Home Receives Gift From Local Church

The Church of the Transfiguration in Mountain Grove recently gave a generous $500 gift to help further the work being done at the Wright County Children’s Home.  The pastor and a group of church members visited the home and delivered the check in person last Friday afternoon. Pictured from left to right are: WCCH Direct-Care Staff member, Bethanne Grover; president of the WCCH Board of Directors, Sharon Marler; WCCH Assistant Administrator, Jessica McCleary; pastor of the Church of the Transfiguration Fr. Brad Ellsworth; WCCH Executive Director Jeremy Eden; and church member, WCCH volunteer, and local children’s book author, Kate Klise.  Also present, but not pictured is church member, Joyce Bowman.
