I’m so glad we worship a living God that has overcome death, hell, and the grave. This morning we celebrated our Lord’s victory over death as He arose from the tomb so we could also have everlasting life. We had a special couple from the Heart of the Ozarks Nursing Home with us this morning. They were Brother Ray C and Leah Lee. We enjoyed having them with us and we had special prayer for Leah , the Spirit of the Lord was there in a wonderful way. Sister Buffy Strong sang a beautiful special song for us this morning. We were blessed by it. Pastor Buddy brought the message this morning from John 20-1-8. about searching for Jesus. If we are truly searching for Him, we will know Him more today than we did yesterday and will continue to know Him more everyday. Do we really search for Him and His plan for our life? When we do we will know Him more each day. At the end of today’s service there was a great illustration of Jesus coming forth to take away all of our fear, doubt, pain, and confusion. He went to the cross to die for our sins but He came forth from the grave as our Redeemer so we could live with Him. We were glad for the young man who came to accept Christ this morning. We were also so happy to see that one on the board of the unsaved that we have been praying for was moved to the board of the saved. Welcome to the kingdom of God. There will be a men’s fishing day April 14 for details contact Mark Henry or David Melton. Also there is going to be Theodosia work days April 27 and 28 at Brother Lester Platt’s church, great opportunity to be blessed. If you don’t have a home church come worship with us. We have services at 8:30 and 11:00 and Sunday School at 10:00 Sunday morning and Sunday night at 6:00 Wednesday night Bible study at 6:00 p.m.
Thought for the week; The empty cross and the empty tomb spell a full salvation.
