The Snoop 3.29.2012

Not everyone will agree – and certainly not Tony Jenkins – but for me it was rather refreshing to see Tiger Woods’ big toothy grin as he walked up to the 18th green Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Despite all the feelings one may have about his personal life – and I certainly don’t agree with his behavior off the course – he is one of the best in the game of golf. Or he was, at least, before his meltdown after his wife’s golfing encounter of another kind.
Now that he’s apparently got his groove back, I agree with the TV broadcaster’s remark Sunday: “Watch out, boys, on the PGA tour. Tiger is back!”
Now, while we’re on the subject of Tiger, I just have to share this little tidbit of information that was sent to us last week. The information is not mine, and in an attempt to not be accused of plagiarism I credit the comments to Dr. David Kaiser, who I learned is an author and historian with a PhD in history from Harvard. Anyway, this is rather interesting and there has to be some truth in it. You will notice from the time reference, this was written at least a year ago. Anyway, here’s what Dr. Kaiser had to say:
“I think it is remarkable that within a week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade, the press found most (not all) of the women with whom Tiger has had an affair with in the last few years, with photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc. etc. etc. And, they not only knew the cause of the family fight, but they even knew it was a wedge from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows (and his head) in the Escalade.  Not only that, they knew which wedge! And each and every day, they gave America more updates on his sex-rehab stay, his wife’s plans for divorce, and the dates and tournaments he will play in.
Obama has been in office for over a year now, and this same press:
1) still cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors;
2) or locate any of Obama’s college papers or grades;
3) or how he paid for a Harvard education;
4) or which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980s;
5) or Barry Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barack Soetoro, Barry Dunham or even Michelle Obama’s Princeton thesis on racism.
They just can’t seem to find them!
In another “Secondhand Soapbox”, I found more interesting information. I call this “information” rather than facts because I cannot confirm any of this to be true, and don’t know for sure who posted it on the Internet.
Says the article, “There is only one Barack Hussein Obama according to the U. S. Census and he has 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases. The one he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is not ever reported to have lived.”
The writer says, “I have always wondered why no one ever came forward from Obama’s past saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his friend, etc.”
Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at Columbia who also graduated in 1983.
In 2008, Root says of Obama, “I don’t know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. EVER! Nobody recalls him. I’m not exaggerating, I’m not kidding.
“Root adds that he was also, like Obama, “Class of ’83 political science, pre-law” and says, “You don’t get more exact or closer than that.
Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him. At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack!
“Obama’s photograph does not appear in the school’s ‘yearbook’ and Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia.
