Some of our schools were on Spring break. I guess I was too! We began with prayer requests and several were given. Among those were John Watson, David Wilson, Colene, Jim Haden, Jeff Dalton, our nation, troops and leaders, and Randy Dalton in revival in north Missouri. Connie Johnson prayed this prayer.
We sang happy anniversary to Stan and Kim Humbyrd and were dismissed to Sunday school classes.
Aaron Dalton and Aaron Humbyrd received our Lord’s tithes and offerings. Testimonies were shared about our good Lord. Danny Johnson led us in songs and gave us a challenge concerning the day in which we are living.
Luke, chapter 14, was the scripture Pastor Neal read—the wedding feast and the great supper parable given by Jesus. Jesus wants to be in every detail of our lives and He will if we invite Him.
At 6 p.m., Pastor Neal began with prayer followed by singing. Testimonies were given. LeaAnn and Erin Crum sang.
Brother Van Menzies was our speaker. He read from Job 38, 40 and 42. The Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said, “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?” Then the Lord answered Job again out of a whirlwind and said, “Gird up your loins now like a man. I will demand of you and declare you to me.” Job prayed for his friends and the Lord turned his captivity.
Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. is prayer meeting and each Wednesday at 7 p.. is Bible Study in the book of Exodus. Come and worship with us.
