Rome

We got a little rain this morning (Monday.) Hopefully we will get some more. I talked to my sister, Georgia in Oklahoma. She said it had rained there since early morning and her yard looked like a river.

Dick and I visited with Helen Dobbins Tuesday. She is doing pretty good, but doesn’t get out much.

Julian Cavalier and Dick did some work for Kelly and DeAnn Thompson last week, fixing some doors and etc.

Dick mowed his lawn Friday morning. Then him and Julian worked on their mowers in Julian’s garage. Fridy evening and Saturday they both did some mowing.

I arrived at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center Friday just as they were celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Most of the residents were dressed in green hats, shirts, pants and even socks and streamers for hair. They were all having a good time. I got to push Peggy Jenkins around, during the judging of costumes. She ended up winning first prize. I had lunch with her then visited with Irene Richards and Goldie Miller.

Freeda Richards just now called to let us know her brother, Jim Haden, had come through surgery. He had a tumor removed from his brain. She said he was in surgery six hours. The doctors said he was responding to them. Our prayers are with him to have a quick recovery.

God bless, until next week.
