Riders from all over the country will be descending on the Flying-R-Ranch near Twin Bridges for the filming of their television show “Best of America By Horseback” on April 20–22 and October 18-20. Terry and Pam Carroll owners of the Flying – R-Ranch were approached in early 2012 to allow filming on their ranch.
Best of America By Horseback features trail riding around the United States and some foreign countries. The Ozarks is the second site in Missouri to be filmed.
Flying-R-Ranch trails lie adjacent to the North Fork River, Mark Twain National Forest and offer trail rides for all skill levels. Located just inside Douglas County, the ranch offers over 100 miles of horseback trails.
The event will offer three days of scheduled events, filmed trail rides, and special entertainment. Mark your calendar, for April 20, 21, and 22 and come to the ranch to enjoy the festivities and filming.
