Feb. 19 – We were way down in number this Sunday morning. We have whole families out sick. Bro. Hi Lambeth led us in prayer. Bro. Jim Lafferty read Romans 4:1-8 for our devotion.
We had a very good Sunday school lesson.
Praise and Worship began with singing. Singing specials were Melissa Harmon accompanied by Jimmy Lafferty on guitar and Dennis and D.J. Shumate. God supplies our needs! He knew we needed help in our service today. Pastor Bill Austin spoke this morning from Luke 10:1-3 and 17-20.
Feb. 26 – Sunday school opened with singing. Bro. Jack Essary welcomed everyone taking prayer requests. We have many concerns – the lost, bereaved, sick, country, military and family. Sis. Elsie Combs led in prayer. Jack read II Peter 1:3-8 for our devotion.
After Sunday school Happy Birthday was sung to Bobby Combs and Jack Essary. Happy Anniversary was sun to Etcyl and Lorrinda Coulter. God bless them. They are a blessing to our church. Testimonies were given by Jim Lafferty, Elsie Combs, Jeff Shipley and Laurena Mitchell. Laurena sang a special.

Jesus knows the intent of our hearts. Sometimes our intent is harder than we think or thought. We need to commit to Christ. He will help us with our intent. Please don’t turn your back on Christ.
We were glad all the sick was back along with some that have been gone awhile.
Sunday evening we began with congregational singing. Bro. Jeff Shipley opened service taking prayer requests. God is good to hear and answer all our concerns. Sis. Lorrinda Coulter led in prayer. Testimonies were given by Janice Lafferty, Lorrinda Coulter, Ethel Metcalf and Bill Austin. Ethel Metcalf sang a special. Bro. Jim Lafferty was our speaker of the hour. Sunday evening he brought his message from Revelations 2:1. Lets go back to our first love, repent and live for Christ. Are we just going through the motions or are we really living for Christ? We need to be a soul-winning station for the Lord.
