Roy Hampton , opened Sunday school with the reading of the 9th chapter of Matthew, verses 37 and 38, “The Harvest Truly Is Plenteous, But The Laborers Are Few.” He then led in prayer.
Our lesson today, was Acts, chapter 2, about being filled with the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost. The chapter fully explains itself.
Roy Hampton took up the morning offering and Joe Lafferty led the offering prayer. The congregation sang three songs and Susie Sisco sang a special.
For the worship service, Joe Lafferty’s text was the 10th chapter of Acts, and Roy Hampton spoke on the 24th and 9th chapters of Matthew.
We are all still fighting allergies and colds. About the time someone
gets over it, someone else gets it.
We had a good “Tag That Preacher” service Saturday night. I always enjoy the fellowship we have in our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ.
We sang the invitational song and Joe Lafferty dismissed the service in prayer.
Don’t forget, Breedon’s Friday Night Singing, March 9th at 7:00 p.m. After the singing, we will have coffee and snacks. Hope we all are feeling better by then.
Until next time…may God bless.
