I talked with Bonnie Phipps Sunday and she said she had gone over to Cecilia Edwards to see how she was feeling.
There are so many sick folks and they’re not all alike.
My brother-in-law, Dale McPheeters had his knee operated on last Tuesday and is doing real well.
Nina Carter and I went up to help Donna Fleetwood some more and when we left to come home we got in the midst of the heavy storm and had to stop and wait until it blew over.
I received three-tenths of an inch of rain in my gage Wednesday morning. Tara brought Jett over and later on James, Mark and Gary came by and all they talked about was fishing and I told them that I would love to have a mess and guess what? I got some. Kendra came by that evening to stay with Jett if Tara didn’t come before I went to Bible Study. Those attending were Dennis and Sandy Shumate, Don and Evelyn Bryan, Martin Hathcock, Nancy Levan, Nina Carter and Hellen Blakey. The title of the book we are reading is called The Feasts of the Lord. We will be talking abut the spring feasts which has four under it and the fall feasts which has three under it. A week from this Wednesday night we will study The Feast of the Unleavened Bread.
Tara brought Jett over Thursday and when she came and got him that evening, Nina Carter and I went back to Donna’s to help her get her dryer working.
Nina took an electrician back with her on Friday to get it hooked up the right way.
James came by Friday and then that evening Tom and Mary Martha Williams, Carol Moore, Doris Morrison and Hellen Blakey went to Mansfield to the Official Inspection of the 23rd and 28th Districts and others coming from Ava were Mike and Charlotte Bock, Karen Heriford, and then Charles Murray was counted as a duel member.
I got my car back Saturday morning. It has been in the shop getting worked on and to have the oil changed.
Kelsey came by Saturday and brought me some eggs for Sunday. Those going to the Stained Glass Theatre were Nina Carter who drove and Don and Evelyn Bryan, Sandy Shumate, Nancy Levan, Lois Weidman and Hellen Blakey. The play was about one of the actress’ life down in a town named Hurley, Missouri. It was real good so go see it if you can.
Marsha Blakey and I wish Glenda Sanders a Happy Birthday on the 18th.
Lets keep our sick folks in our prayers. My prayers and sympathy go out to all the people who have lost a loved one, I mean every one.
Lets keep our leaders and the men and women in the service and their families and the ones in training in our prayers.
