We are still having spring-like weather, sounds like those of us that are bothered with allergy and sinus, are in for some problems.
Georgia Sanders, Norma Cross and I went to the Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare to visit with Peggy Jenkins and Golda Miller. We didn’t get to see Irene Richards because she was playing Bingo.
Dick Richards went to see Helen Dobbins, Thursday. They were trying to figure out when a picture was taken that their niece, Emille, had sent Dick for his birthday. They came up with the picture was of Dick when he was nine years old, standing by a 1940 Chevy truck, holding their bird dog. It would be helpful to name and date pictures when we take them. I guess we think it will always be remembered. We forget that we will get old someday.
Friday, Norma fixed lunch for Georgia, Dick and Pauline and Kenny.
Ronnie and Shellie Sanders from Tulsa, Oklahoma came up Saturday. They spent the night with Norma Cross at Goodhope. They came to pick up Georgia Sanders from Claremore, Oklahoma who had been visiting in the area for a while. They all went to the Goodhope Baptist Church Sunday morning then went by to see Peggy Jenkins at the nursing home on their way back to Oklahoma.
Teresa Robertson, Kayla Welsh and I took our Sunday school boys and girls to the Ava Place and Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center Sunday after church. They had made Valentines with scriptures inside for the residents. They all enjoy those children so much. Then we all went to McDonald’s for treats that Kathleen Loyd provided for them. Kaite Jenkins and Kinsey Thompson went with us. Oh yes, Glen Dale Robertson drove the church van for us.
Freda Richards didn’t have much news about Jim Haden, They are still planning surgery for the tumor on his brain.
I was sorry to hear of the death of Oma Mackey. She had been sick for a while.
