Richard Edward "Rick" Marler, 30

Richard Edward Marler, 30, of Fordland, passed to heaven on Feb. 6, 2012 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Mo.

Rick was born Oct. 21, 1981 in Springfield to Steven and Leta (Riggs) Marler.

Rick is survived by his grandmother, Viola Marler, Fordland; his parents, Leta Marler and Steve Ray Marler Sr., both of Springfield; two brothers, of Springfield; two nephews; and numerous friends and family.

Funeral services for Rick will be Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with burial in the Easter Cemetery near Fordland. Visitation will be Friday, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Rev. Dale Roller.
