Hello on this cold Sunday evening. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow. We’ll see.
On last Monday Ann Collins and Ella May Daugherty had lunch with Karen Fredrick and Agnes Williams. Doug had driven to Mountain Grove and wasn’t there for lunch.
Then Tuesday Doug and Karen Fredrick went to Mountain Home, Arkansas to visit his dad. I think he is feeling some better.
Patty Stephens came down Thursday and took me to Mountain Grove for my protime test, we ate lunch at the Pizza Hut and I got some groceries.
Two of my little great granddaughters in Moberly have had walking pneumonia. The doctor said they have been pretty sick.
Ted Collins has missed some work this week due to not feeling good.
Agnes Williams is at Janet, Paul and Katlyn Smith’s today.
Bertha and Dean Scherer attended a 50th surprise birthday party for Kenny Massey last Saturday night.
Belated Happy Birthday wishes to Dwayne Sparks the 2nd and to Kennny also. Other birthdays coming are Ted Collins and Norma Griffith the 14th, Pat Daugherty (one of my stepsons) and Devin Snodgrass (grandson-in-law) the 26th of this month.
Also Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone on Tuesday. In my momentos I have a valentine from Bud, my late husband given to me in 1946 when we were in the 8th grade at Hickory Flatt School. I also have the last valentine he bought me before he got sick.
I like this quote, “Keep your face to the sunshine and you can’t see the shadows.”
God bless all and take care.
